According to the terms and conditions of Vorwerk Switzerland, exclusively Swiss law applies to all disputes arising from or in connection with a purchase contract. The United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG) is excluded. The competent courts are the ordinary courts at the location of Vorwerk Switzerland in Dierikon, Canton of Lucerne.
For which disputes does this regulation apply?
The regulation on jurisdiction and applicable law applies to all disputes that arise:
- When concluding a purchase contract
- Regarding the validity or modification of a contract
- When terminating a purchase contract
- In connection with orders placed in the Vorwerk Online Shop Switzerland
What applies if terms and conditions provisions are invalid?
If individual provisions of the terms and conditions are invalid or ineffective, this shall have no impact on the validity of the remaining provisions according to the terms and conditions. The terms and conditions remain valid in their entirety (severability clause).
