According to the terms and conditions of Vorwerk Switzerland, a statutory warranty of 2 years applies to product defects for private use. For commercial use or if the billing address is a company address, the period is 6 months. The warranty period begins with the delivery of the product to you.
How is the warranty provided?
Vorwerk Switzerland decides at its own discretion whether the warranty is fulfilled through repair or replacement of the product. According to the terms and conditions, there is no entitlement to withdraw from the contract or to a refund of the purchase price.
What applies after a repair or product replacement?
- After repair: 2 years warranty (commercial: 6 months) on the replaced parts. For parts not replaced, the original period continues unchanged.
- After replacement: 2 years warranty (commercial: 6 months) on the new product.
What is excluded from the warranty?
The following cases are not covered according to the terms and conditions:
- Work not performed by Vorwerk Switzerland or authorized specialists
- Damage caused by user error or improper handling
- Damage caused by external factors such as power outages, lightning, water ingress, or frost
- Damage caused during the transport of the device
