Is your Kobold VK7 showing an error code on the display (10, 11, 14, or 63)? Most errors can be fixed by yourself within a few minutes. In almost all cases, first remove the battery for at least one minute – this resets the system. Additionally, check the filter, filter bag, and the contacts on the attachment.
Overview of Error Codes
- Code 10 – Communication Error: Disconnect the battery from the device for one minute and then reinsert it.
- Code 11 – Overtemperature: Turn off the device and let it cool down for 60 minutes before restarting it.
- Code 14 – Motor Problem: Remove the cover with the battery, check the filter and filter bag, perform a factory reset.
- Code 63 – Attachment Error: Visually check the contacts on the attachment for dirt and perform a reset.
Performing a Factory Reset
- Turn off the device and remove the battery.
- Press and hold the power button for 10 seconds to discharge residual power.
- Reinsert the battery and turn on the device.
- If the error occurs again, replace the filter and filter bag.
Important Notes
- Use only original Vorwerk replacement parts (filter, filter bag, battery).
- For error 11, let the device cool down in a cool place – not in direct sunlight.
- After each filter change, a short test run is recommended.
