Causes and Solutions
Problem: Error code 56 appears when starting
Cause: The mixing bowl is overloaded or the ingredients are blocking the blades.
Solution:
- Disconnect the device from the power supply – the device is completely turned off
- Remove the mixing bowl and check the fill level – the maximum fill level of 2.2 liters must not be exceeded
- Check if ingredients are blocking the blades – the blades must be able to rotate freely
- Reduce the amount or chop large pieces – smaller portions enable better processing
- Reinsert the mixing bowl and restart the device – the error code should no longer appear
Problem: Error code 56 during operation
Cause: The blades are dirty or the blade holder is blocked.
Solution:
- Turn off the device and disconnect it from the power supply – the device is completely turned off
- Remove the mixing bowl and take out the blades – the blades can be loosened by turning counterclockwise
- Clean the blades and blade holder thoroughly – all residues must be removed
- Check the blade holder for damage – the holder must be intact and move freely
- Reinsert the blades and start the device – error code 56 should be resolved
Problem: Error code 56 despite correct loading
Cause: The motor control or an internal sensor is defective.
Solution:
- Perform a reset: Disconnect the device from the power supply for 2 minutes – all temporary errors will be reset
- Reconnect the device and start a test run without ingredients – the device should run without errors
- If error code 56 still appears, contact Vorwerk customer service – professional repair is required
