The Thermomix® Sensor is not suitable for all cooking devices. Please observe the following restrictions to avoid damage to the probe and to not void the warranty.
Microwave and combination oven with microwave function
The Thermomix® Sensor must not be used in the microwave. This will cause irreparable damage to the electronics and poses a fire hazard.
Pressure cooker
Use in a pressure cooker is not supported. The increased pressure can allow moisture to enter the probe and damage the circuits. Use will result in voiding the warranty.
Steel cooking pot
The sensor can be used in a conventional steel cooking pot, provided no steel lid is placed on it. A metal lid interrupts the Bluetooth® signal.
