The Thermomix® sensor has two sensors, each covering different temperature ranges. Be sure not to exceed these limits to avoid damage to the probe.
- Ambient Temperature Sensor *(in the black ceramic edge, upper area):* Measures the temperature in the oven or on the grill. Maximum 275 °C.
- Core Temperature Sensor *(about 2 cm from the tip):* Measures the temperature inside the food. Must not be heated above 100 °C.
