During the cooking process, the probe continuously sends data to the charger, which acts as a repeater and relays the signal to the Thermomix® TM6 and TM7 as well as the Cooking Center app. To keep the connection stable, the charger must always be in close proximity to the probe.
- Charger to Probe: The charger must always remain close to the probe – ideally less than 1 meter away. When baking, it is best to position it directly next to the oven, either freestanding or using the magnets on the back.
- TM6 or TM7 to Charger: The device can be placed further away – usually between 1 and 50 meters, depending on the environment.
