The Thermomix® Sensor uses Bluetooth® technology to connect with the Thermomix® TM6 and TM7 as well as with mobile phones. The Thermomix® TM5 does not support Bluetooth® functionality.
If you are using the TM5, you can still use the Thermomix® Sensor – through the Cooking Center App on your mobile phone.
